Adapting your floating lid tank to a vinifier
Why the adjustment to vinifier? For the storage of wines, ciders and liquids in the food industry wherever the level changes frequently and where there is a need for prevent air access to the level of the stored liquid. At the same time, the modified tank can be used for the fermentation of blue and aromatic grape varieties by the method of a dipped matoline hat.
An existing tank with a floating lid is modified by welding stainless steel pins which can be used to fix the sieve in the tank in several height positions. This sieve has the task of keeping the matoline hat submerged throughout the fermentation process. Through the side chamber it is possible to maintain the temperature regime using hose cooler. This chamber also allows the escape of gases produced during the incineration process.
