Coolers for glass demijohns
38,50 € without VAT
Coolants for demijohns are designed for the foodstuff industry and for cooling or heating of wine musts during controlled fermentation in glass demijohns. Insert the coolant through the filling hole and connect the hoses to the source and waste of cold or hot water. The water supply must be connected by ball joint to one threaded fitting and water waste to the other threaded fitting of the demijohn. Waterflow and thus the temperature of fermenting musts must be manually adjusted by the ball valve. Approximately 9 liters of water are consumed per 1 hectoliter of fermenting must per hour of fermentation. Water warms up by 3°C/37.4°F , e.g. from 12°C/53.6°F to 15°/59°F. During manual regulation of cooling the must temperature can be measured by the bimetallic thermometer.
