Protection of wine with nitrogen

Protecting the wine with nitrogen prevents oxidation of the wine. The device is designed to protect the liquid stored in the tanks, with the level of the wine not reaching to the top of the tank. Nitrogen is pumped from the bottle into the storage bag and, as the wine is drained from the tank, the valve at the top of the tank is simultaneously opened and the volume of wine removed is replenished with nitrogen. The reservoir bag is topped up from the bottle as required.
