Straining tank - TYPE SC

Straining tank for grapes is a standing circular tank with V-shaped bottom. The tank is adjusted for installation on the steel construction over the grape press. At the bottom, a roll conveyor moves the screened mash away. For discharging of mash, the straining tank has a hole with circular door and cover protecting against splash of must. A draining basket made of perforated sheet metal is placed in the middle of the straining tank. Outflow of must is facilitated by the pipe on the bottom of the straining tank. Optionally, the straining tank can be equipped with floating lid for airtight closure and cooling plates for cooling of mash.
